MAINTENANCE CREW PERFORMS MIRACLE

Truck number 10 was one of the first trucks that Northside Carting put on the road back in 1998.  Recently, we purchased a new body and put the challenge to the shop crew to revamp the truck and they came through big time.

The truck was prepped, painted, given new signs, and the cab was completely done over.  Our body expert Wayne, 4th from the left, compiled countless hours until he achieved perfection, and the picture tells the story. The rest of the staff, left to right, Guido, Ralph, and Forrest, all assisted in taking Truck 10 apart and putting back together making sure all the bolts were tightened and retightened, electrical, hydraulics and everything else.

Of course, the whole group is led by the leader of the band Dexter, seen far right.  Dexter has been in the vehicle maintenance business for quite a long time. Dex puts in countless hours each and every day in order to assure that all of the Northside vehicles leave the yard the next day in a safe manner. We at Northside would like to thank Dexter and his crew for a job well done on Truck 10, but, more importantly, for all of the little and big things that they do on a daily basis.
